The south-east walls of Capo Figari provide the perfect habitat for many marine species. The dive starts nicely at just a few metres of depth and descends slowly into a small canyon. At about -30 m a beautiful underwater scene appears in front of you: mushroom shaped coral formations stand in the midst of an expanse of sand, silhouetted against the deep blue sea. Here you can see three anchors dating back to Byzantine times, one of which is in good condition.
If you want to go snorkelling or diving we strongly recommend that you contact a local diving centre that will safely guide you in discovering the seabeds.
